Our first joint VBS with Holy Trinity was a great success!!!!! Everything went very smoothly, and all attendees had a blast. We successfully met and surpassed our goals for both of our mission projects. We collected over 500 cans/boxes of soup for the Holy Trinity Food Pantry and over $1,800 for the Dragonfly Academy. A huge thank you to Thrivent for the matching funds.
During our week we had 60 children, 21 people in the adult class and 48 volunteers (helpers, leaders, parents, kitchen help). That is a total of 129 people at VBS!!!
We are already looking forward to next year. Next year we will be visiting Holy Trinity. The tentative dates are June 21st through the 25th, but watch for updates in the spring newsletters.
